Megan Ellis, KC was the senior editor of JP Boyd on Family Law, responsible for recruiting most of the book's volunteer subject editors. She is a senior British Columbia litigator with extensive experience in trial and appeal work. Her work includes precedent setting cases in both family law and civil claims for sexual abuse and assault, including the key family law decision of the Supreme Court of Canada in Hartshorne v. Hartshorne, [2004] 1 SCR 550.
