A widget is an online tool that permits a portion of one web page to appear on other web pages.
Clicklaw widgets:
- offer users more entry points into public legal education & information (PLEI) resources
- help create a visible network of linked content, conveying a sense of cohesiveness across our community of PLEI providers
- spread the word of Clicklaw resources, including those from your organization
As a collaborative website, Clicklaw content comes from organizations like yours. In addition, as a Clicklaw partner, your organization is required to add Clicklaw widget code to one or more pages on your website. The basic requirement is to add one Clicklaw widget somewhere on your site, although you will be welcome to put on more if you like. Putting on a widget is as simple as embedding on a page on your site a small piece of code, generated using theClicklaw widget builder. The Clicklaw project team will be happy to provide assistance.
