You might want to know about your own family law issue, or you might be helping someone deal with their family law issue. Either way, this is for you. In this material, [[JP Boyd|John-Paul Boyd]] guides you through family law in British Columbia as if he was talking to you.

Either way, this is for you.
John-Paul Boyd is an experienced Vancouver lawyer who practises family law. For over a decade British Columbians have been using his online BC Family Law Resource as their go-to place for family law information. John-Paul doesn't assume you know about legal language and legal processes. He talks like an ordinary person. He explains legal terms and gives you tips on how to do things.

In this material, JP Boyd guides you through BC's family law matters as if he was talking to you.
The information is divided into chapters. In each chapter you will find an overview, then additional sections that give you more detailed information.  Each chapter makes sense by itself. You don't have to go hunting for information in other chapters.
