Kaity has represented clients before administrative tribunals and all levels of court, and has argued a number of systemic cases which have advanced the rights of disadvantaged persons, including a Court of Appeal case which affirmed the accessibility of the human rights scheme. Kaity joined the legal department of the Hospital Employees’ Union in 2015 where she continues to advocate for the rights of workers.
