''[[JP Boyd on Family Law]]'' is a collaborative work led by [[JP Boyd|John-Paul Boyd]] and [[Megan Ellis|Megan Ellis QC]]. They are joined by a stellar roster of subject editors (experienced senior family law lawyers and junior lawyers committed to delivering in-depth, pragmatic family law information for the public). The editorial structure of ''[[JP Boyd on Family Law]]'' is unique in its use of editorial pairs for most chapter contents. In past editions, ''editors emeriti'' (members of the judiciary and legal academia), were asked to provide general overview and guidance. Subject editors are asked to serve for a period of one or two years.
''[[JP Boyd on Family Law]]'' is indebted to the many contributors who've participated over the years.
In 2020 John-Paul Boyd resumed duties as the lead author and editor in order to update and streamline the resource, but most pages contain the work of subject editors from previous editions. Below is a list of contributors who have authored pages or offered special subject guidance since 2020. Cross-mentorship is encouraged between subject editors, as it is generally the case that the subject editor who is more junior will have a greater comfort with the technological aspects of updating content on the wiki, while senior calls who are subject editors will have more experience and knowledge about the law.

* '''Editors emeriti''' (''editor emeritus'' singular) were judges, masters and law professors with accounts and profiles on Clicklaw Wikibooks, but who were not assigned specific chapters. They were encouraged to review content overall, make suggestions to subject editors about changes to chapters, and make other recommendations to site administrators as they see fit. The project no longer has this category of editors.
