This is a help page for contributors or users.
- This page contains no legal help information.
- See other Clicklaw Wikibooks Guides.
A widget is an online tool that permits a portion of one web page to appear on other web pages. Clicklaw widgets enable content from the main Clicklaw website to appear on other websites. Clicklaw widgets:
- offer users more entry points into public legal education & information (PLEI) resources,
- help create a visible network of linked content, conveying a sense of cohesiveness across the community of PLEI providers in British Columbia, and
- spread the word of Clicklaw resources, available from dozens of organizations in the province.
Putting a Clicklaw widget on your website is as simple as embedding on a page on your site a small piece of code, generated using the Clicklaw widget builder. The Clicklaw project team will be happy to provide assistance. Feel free to contact us by email.
