The Law-Related Lessons were developed on Clicklaw Wikibooks by People's Law School as a resource for instructors of ELSA Net’s English language classes. The lessons feature legal topics that affect newcomers to Canada and British Columbia, including consumer problems, crime, driving laws, employment laws, family law, paying taxes, and renting a home.

The lesson modules include reading material for learners, downloadable instructional packages at varying Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB) levels, and assessment tools.
