The Canadian Bar Association BC Branch's Lawyer Referral Service provides referrals to volunteer lawyers in private practice who specialize in various areas of the law. For a fee of $25 plus tax, a client is entitled to up to 30 minutes of consultation with a lawyer where the lawyer may provide information, assistance or summary advice about the client's legal issue.
