The Community Legal Assistance Society (“CLAS”) provides primarily “test-case” advice

and representation for people with disability, employment insurance, poverty and Workers’ Compensation problems. Services are limited to cases that could advance the law or policy in these areas. CLAS also provides advice and representation at the BC Review Panel to persons detained under the BC Mental Health Act.
